"Finding new genes involved in Thick Ascending Limb function and blood pressure regulation ”
Videoconference to AT&T 1.120
About the Speaker(s)
Through the use of a targeted proteomics approach we have identified several genes of unknown renal function that bind NKCC2, the main NaCl transporter in the Thick Ascending Limb. Using new KO rats or mice we have determined whether some of these genes maintain Na homeostasis and are involved in hypertension.
