UTHSCSA - Department of Physiology
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) in the United States or proof of equivalent degree and training at a foreign institution required. The next program cycle begins August 2008 and requires 21 months to complete. The following documents are required to be submitted to the Office of the Registrar.

HOW TO APPLY


The following documents are needed:

  • Official application form - Apply on-line

  • Three reference letters must be supplied using the official UT Reference Letter Form

  • Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores sent directly from the Education Testing Service.  Institutional Code: 6908, Department Code: 0217.  OR Official Millers Analogies Test (MAT) scores in lieu of the GRE.  For information on GRE test dates call 210-494-7263 or 210-431-4370 and for MAT test dates call 210-434-6711 x2331 or 210-436-3135.
    *A minimum score (verbal + quantitative) of 1000 on the GRE is preferred.

          *A minimum score of 376 on the MAT is preferred.

  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended

  • A letter must be submitted to the Program Coordinator (noted at the bottom of the page) indicating that an application has been submitted to the Office of the Registrar and briefly explaining your basis of interest in graduate studies in Physiology
